Why We're Different
We offer the most detailed, effective, and high level basketball training in all of Central PA.
Ethan is the boys varsity head coach at Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy in Boalsburg. In his first season, he led SJCA to their second ever district championship game and helped develop the program's first ever all-state player.
Over the past 6 years, Ethan has worked with dozens of players from the middle school level through the professional level and has helped develop numerous high level high school and college players. A few of his players' accomplishments over the last 6 years:
- 3 Pennsylvania All-State selections
- 13 high school all-conference selections
- 1 Conference MVP
- 2 PennLive Big 15 All-Star selections
- Leading 3-point shooter on the best 3-point shooting team in the NCAA (Cameron Khoza, University of Scranton)
- State College Area High School's all-time leading 3-point shooter (Carley Donnell, class of 2024)
- 20+ players on collegiate rosters, including 3 Division 1 players and multi-year starters at every level
- Multiple professional players (NBA, G-League, and overseas)
We prefer to do our training in a small group format and have found that this is the most effective method of basketball development. The reason for this is because it allows for individual attention as well as opportunities to compete and add defense, decision making, and pressure to our sessions, which are 3 things that will also be present in games. This allows players to not only improve their physical skills, but also learn how to apply what they learn to real game situations. Players can expect to see improvement in:
- Overall scoring and playmaking ability
- Confidence to make plays in games
- Shooting mechanics and shot making ability
- Ball handling and footwork
- Finishing around the rim
- And more!
Because of the way in which we prefer to do things, we keep the amount of players we work with at any given time limited. Small groups will be capped at 8 players in order to maximize individual instruction.
We take a lot of pride in being the go to spot for developing serious players in Central PA. We hope that you'll choose to work with us and allow us to be a part of reaching your goals on the court!
